Have Core Logos 5 program available for upgrade for a certain price please!
I think Logos 5 core program should be available for L3 and L4 users for a price.
Why should I buy other books that I don't want or need now just to upgrade.
Please just let the core program available for upgrade for a reasonable price.

After the product launch (most likely because current upgrade downloads is maxing out the servers) Logos will be releasing a minimal crossgrade after Logos 5 product launch finishes. The crossgrade will give you just the new features and not the extra resources. It's coming just not at the same time as the launch for Logos 5.

There will be a free engine upgrade in the future, just not now.

If Logos had notified it CLEARLY up front, then they could have prevent so much confusions and frustrations. It's not too late to do it though.

You are very right.
The information on the FAQ should be highly visible on the site. Something like "Have some questions?" with a link to the page.

I would submit that the cross-grade info should be on the same page as the base packages rather than buried in a FAQ (no matter how visible). It is (or will be) a legitimate purchase option at some point. Just rank it lower than the lowest base package and let it stand or fall on its own merits. Yet it (the Logos 4 minimum cross-grade) has always been hidden in the dark basement of logos.com

With all that I have read I don't think many of the new features will be available in "free" engine at any time. Things like the timeline, sermon starter, etc, will still only be available in the "purchased upgrade". So you will get V5 with all of the new "base" features but not all of the new/extra features.

Thanks for the info brother Adam. If that is so, I'd rather ask Logos again to sell the core program of L5 with a reasonable price.
