How do I back up my Logos 4?

Since presumably we cannot download Logos 4 from the site, how would I go about making copies so that I can transfer Logos 4 to any new computer I might buy in the future? Is there a way to put Logos files on my external hard-drive and load it onto a computer from that?

 

I don't want to be held hostage to pricey upgrades (nearly $700 for Platinum, and I can't see that many new resources--that's just too much imo) every time there is a major update like this.

You don't have to upgrade via one of the upgrade packages available at the moment. In the future, the base engine and crossgrade options will also be available as discussed in many places on the forums.
