Jasen – Sorry you are having troubles. [:S]
You need to enable logging, allow L4 to crash, grab the new logs and submit them again. To enable logging, please read this WIKI ARTICLE.

Welcome [:D]
Logos 4.6a SR-2 is crashing while syncing stuff; suggest contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/contact
Work around is using Logos 4 Mac to work offline; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Keyboard_Shortcuts_For_Mac that includes sign-in tip.

I have had crashes with L4 on my Macbook Air since I purchased the laptop. when looking at crash reports and the Mac Console it seems to always point at the indexer. Logos support after reviewing the logs also stated the same. My hope is L5 will fix this issue.
Also other L4 users on the Mac have had the same issue.

about 3 days ago my Logos 4 began shutting down unexpectedly after running for approximately 3 minutes from start up.
I purchased L4 Mac when it was still in the beta stage. Sometimes I think it still is.
Love the tools, the technical stuff is beginning to aggravate me though.
I have no idea what a "log" is. I'm a preacher, not a computer science major.
I need to get my L4 back to where it works at least most of the time again.

Suggest calling Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/contact
With your permission, Logos Technical Support can share your desktop so they can look at your diagnostic log files.
Apologies: without looking at Logos diagnostic log files, personally have no clue what is crashing. The log files provide historical context for crash(es). Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac

The Indexer is disk intensive; wonder about running Apple Hardware Test ?
Wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Slow_Performance includes a link for Solid State Disk reconditioning.

John, The same issue here ... not an issue until the auto update did the most recent update.... once it was updated, crashing each time Logos 4 was opened.... (using Mac Air).

Welcome [:D]
Apologies: without looking at Logos diagnostic log files, personally have no idea what is crashing; have seen a number of Logos 4 crash causes on Mac and PC.
If using a Logos 4 stable release, one option is contacting Logos Technical Support.
Personally curious about Logos 4 version ?
