I have a number of collections on my old Logos 3. How do I transfer those collections to my new Logos 4?
I'd also spent considerable time setting up my collections in v.3, so was confused about that.
In version 4, collections are rule-based. You can make your collections from individual books (add them), but it's much easier and quicker to create rules.

Can't be done.
However, creating collections in Logos4 is very, very easy and they're dynamic (meaning when you add new resources in a category they're automatically added.
