5.0 Service Release 3 (5.0.0.1820) is available for download.
If you have Logos 5 installed and automatic updates turned on, 5.0 SR-3 will be downloaded automatically the next time your system checks for updates. To install it right away, enter the Update Now command.

I don't see anything in the notes but is there any chance this will fix my crashing indexer? It says something is wrong with the database. I didn't have any trouble with L4 but now it crashes regularly.

Tom we should move this to a new thread.
This happened to me a few weeks ago. At that time I ran the Rebuild index command from the command bar, and restarted. That fixed my problem but it took awhile.
Please post any followups in a new thread.

I'm really hoping that's not that solution...my computer isn't that fast. With all the L5 threads I thought this was a good place for the question...and you saw it so I must be right

Rebuild bible index would specifically address the crash (first remove C:\Users\Tom\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\0biytsg3.5ik\BibleIndex\supplemental-build.lxn and similar files with 'supplemental' if they exist).

I have an installation error every time I try to install this upgrade...
I notice that the error refers to the folder "\AppData\Logos4\ , however I successfully installed Logos 5 yesterday (over the top of Logos 4 - or so I thought) following the prompts from the Upgrade discounter on the Logos website. Any ideas. I'm stuck at present.

Uggh... After downloading the update from Logos 4 to 5 all night & then downloading resources most of today and then letting Logos index for what seemed like forever... now the new update is downloaded & is indexing very slowing. I was told that Logos 5 greatly increased the indexing speed. From what I have seen so far, it is much slower at indexing. Takes forever...
Also, maybe the release notes should tell us if re-indexing is needed again or not. I wouldn't have downloaded this update right now had I know...

I did not have to reindex after the update… which is true with most of the updates. I will tell you that there have been a ton of resource updates which seemed at times to flood my internet connection. Some of those require lengthy indexing… especially the new RI's.

This may help http://wiki.logos.com/Fixing_Logos_4_folder_Ownership. Someone more experienced in the desktop world may have a better solution though.

Yesterday, I upgraded to Portfolio 5, and downloaded the upgrade. It ran most of the night, and since I was not home today I was not able to use it. Tonight after I arrived home I saw there was another update. For the last 2 hours it has been preparing my library. I would complain, but I recall all too well watching Logos 4 index for a couple of days.
