Tiny scroll bar and page when bible speed search is opened

Help please! when i open the bible speed search the scroll bar is like 2cm and you can only see like one line of the results at a time. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing several times. Even tried it on my husbands computer as well but the same thing happens. Its most annoying. Any solutions or suggestions? I am using L3. Win7 34bit. I know you are all very helpful. God bless you in advance.

I'm sorry but I don't have an L3 installation anymore. With the rush on the forums of L5, I'm afraid your request will get lost. I'll put a request out to other MVP's hoping that someone who is up can help you.

I've never seen this behavior. Try maximizing and then restoring the Logos window.
Can you show us a screenshot of what your whole Logos window looks like with this tiny speed search scroll bar? See here for info on how to capture a screenshot and post it to the forums: http://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot

Hi Melissa
Sounds like the problem which appeared with Libronix and Internet Explorer 7 which was fixed with Libronix 3.0g
More details at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/23698.aspx
What version of Libronix are you running?
Are you running IE and - if so - what version?

Wonder if 34 bit should be 32 bit or 64 bit ?
Curious about Internet Explorer version ? Libronix 3 uses Internet Explorer for rendering on screen.
For Windows 7, recommend Libronix 3.0g plus an Internet Explorer 9 patch => http://www.logos.com/support/windows/L3/IE9
Logos Support has a Libronix page => http://www.logos.com/support/logos3/windows that includes installation links.

Melissa ... I use Libronix3 routinely ... periodically I see the minimizing behavior you mentioned at the start. I don't know if it's the same issue, but the solution for me is as above. Maximize the window, then close it and re-start Libronix. As far as I can tell it has to do with Windows7.
Regarding your missing resources, exactly 'where' are you in the process? If you're in Libronix (version 3?), and you re-install, the software still has 'residuals' of the previous installation. So when I re-installed, it did as you describe (missing resources etc).
Again, if indeed it's the same issue:
- Go to Tools >> Options >> General >> Resource Paths and find a little button called 'Refresh Resources'. Click on that. What it does is clear out the 'buffers' that it had from the previous installation.
Re-start Libronix. Then let it sit for a while, if it's 'Discovering Resources' (little message in the bottom right). If it doesn't do that, then use the Location Manager (Tools >> Library Management) with your CDs. Alternatively re-install. (The key is to 'Refresh Resources' so it will re-read your books.

Logos support has a Libronix uninstall and reinstall article => http://www.logos.com/ArticleViewer/316
After uninstall, suggest downloading Libronix 3.0g => http://www.logos.com/support/windows/L3/newinstall
Libronix 3.0g uses the Internet Explorer javascript engine for display rendering, which needs a patch for Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7.
One way to check Internet Explorer version is using Control Panel => Default Programs, then click Internet Explorer and look at description:
Note: personally have Firefox set as my default web browser.
