Purchased L5...What Now?

I just purchased L5 and thought the upgrade would all be automated.  I opened L4, and all my new resources automatically downloaded.  I let it index over night...closed L4...reopened it, and nothing.  I went out and downloaded the L5 dmg.  

So, now I have L5 with my new resources...anything I need to do now?  I noticed the data folder is still L4.  I'd like to uninstall L4 to save a little HD space, but I don't want to create any issues.

Bottom line...anything I need to do to clean up?

I am not certain about MAC's procedure - I know that Win7 should automatically upgrade. But note that it may have been  impacted by whatever update channel you were on.

At least you got it going.

Yeah, don't do that. :L5 overwrites L4, so there is no wasted space. Part of that overwrite procedure means that the L4 directory names get re-used. Permissions issues get really sticky so the safest most effective way to do an in-place upgrade is in the same place.  Don't worry about the directory names.

Nope. Now go play with that software and get some studying done.

What channel were you on? Beta?

You can safely delete the L4 app from your applications folder… But DONT delete the L4 data folders! Logos is unable to change the name of the folder, but it holds all of your resources & data.

That makes sense why it didn't auto upgrade...I was on the beta update channel. Thanks for your help.
