Does anyone know how to hide books in logos 5?

The same way as in L4… Go to the Logos menu | preferences. Scroll to bottom. Drag resources into hidden list. Restart Logos.

Alabama knows this but has forgotten.
In L5 Library multiselect the resources you want to hide by using the CRTL or Shift keys, being sure not to click on the title so as to open the resource. Then holding down the CRTL key right click and select Hide This Resource.

I am trying to select multiple books, and it just moves 1 book and not the rest of them that I have selected. Any idea on what I could be doing wrong?

I remember now… but have never done it. I don't hide resources often. [If I could actually hide resources and not remove them from my system, I might do it more often [;)]]

Someone else mentioned something about this tonight… Are you in tile or details view (big or small book covers)? I think you need to be in "details" view.

The only caveat to all this good news is that restoring (un-hiding) resources can only be done the old fashioned way of one at a time, so don't get carried away without that in your mind.

And do pick up Jenna's Cowboy while you are there. I hope that by doing so the quota of free copies of that book will finally be complete and it will disappear.

Sure wish it was as easy to unhide books. One at a time is miserable. Hope the fix that someday.

I am not sure how the search engine treats hidden books, but I doubt it would save much search time to wait for the indexer to be triggered automatically at some later point.

I am confused, I hid (language:greek ANDNOT bible). Restarted logos, but they still show up when I look in my library. I thought they would disappear from view.

There are lots of non-Greek Perseus resources, and lots of Greek resources not in Perseus which you may want to keep around...

So I looked in the wiki section, here is what is stated
"If you have books you don’t want or no longer need they can be hidden which means they no longer appear in the Logos interface and are removed from the hard drive"

Can anyone duplicate my issue? If you hide a resource does it still show up after you restart?

No. It should not show up in your library after you hide it (and after a restart).

Thank you for the help with this. It has been a minor irritation to me for a long time.
Btw, I'm using logos 5 on a mac, and I had to put my library into list view in order for the option+right-click function to work.
