Can you make the 'Free' Bibles etc downloadable without requiring a credit card please?

Hi.
I downloaded the Logos4 platform - which came with no included bibles/books etc - just the platform.
I then attempted to get a few of the free ones - ie the free Lexham Bible - however I cannot download it unless I have a credit card. Can you make a work around please for the free modules? For example is there a Logos created 'dummy credit card number' that will allow me just to get past that screen - so that I can download them? (Or a direct link to the free modules perhaps would be an alternative, or a check box saying skip credit card info if total cart is $0 )
Thanks.

Yep that is a Financial Peace graduate speaking or someone from another planet. [;)]
Actually I have the REVERSE problem with Financial Peace University. I don't have a debit card to order their resources, and have to actually send them a check! Good grief, in a day such as this.
All kidding aside, it does seem like a zero balance due should not require a credit card. All it would take is a little coding.

I am not sure why, but every company that I get freebies from requires a credit card.
I do have a potential solution for you… you can go to Wal-Mart (or other store) and get a pre-paid credit/debit card with $5 on it. As long as you only use it for free things, it should work. Since it isn't a "real" credit card, you won't be in jeopardy of spending on credit.
As an FYI – there are frequently freebies on Vyrso (another site of Logos). You will also need a card for those "purchases" as well.

Thanks.
I suppose I will do this - *IF* they don't beat to a more appropriate 'official' solution.
It will likely not be for days before I get around to doing that.

As I said before, this policy is true for other companies as well (Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, Apple iTunes, etc). If you google around, you can find similar thread to this one on those sites. Others have suggested that the reason for this is a legal one… when you get an eBook, you are entering into a legal agreement. The credit card, it seems, verifies you as the person tied to the agreement.

Even if I am wrong, it will likely be a long time before Logos "beats" you to it. There are threads like this dating back LONG ago. [;)]
