PBB datatype link problem for Bradley

Bradley, do you mind answering this?

I'm trying to create a PBB link to Clement of Alexandria's Stromateis 5.8. Following the instructions at http://wiki.logos.com/Finding_the_right_datatype_name_and_reference (which I wrote!), suggests the correct syntax should be

[[Clemens_alexandrinus:Clem. Al., Stromata 5.8]] or
[[Clemens$5Falexandrinus:Clem._Al.,_Stromata_5.8]]

But neither work. Instead, you have to use:

[[Clemens_alexandrinus:Stromata 5.8]]

So my question is whether this points to a bug in L5, or an incorrect understanding of PBB datatype links. I'd like to update the Wiki to the correct info. Why do we need to drop the "Clem. Al.," from the reference in order to make the PBB work?

<edit>My hunch is that it's a bug, and that the periods in the early part of the reference confuse the compiler. I say that because the link below (from a different reference that has a comma, but no period) does work
 [[Plutarchus:Plutarch, Sertorius 1.3]]</edit>
