features

Hi all, I just bought the silver 5 and looking at the spec's it say it has 49 features, But now if i look at the next upgrade
for me (gold), it is listing 53 new features? before i upgraded the most i see any package deal offer is 53 features.
So now having the new silver 5 coming with 49 features, I thought the next upgrade would have been 53 (gold) features minus the 49 (silver) features i just got, which would have been 4 new features? I am not thinking of upgrading so soon, but am very confuse with the info on the next upgrade to me

Gold does have 4 extra features over Silver so those should be shown as "New to you" at the bottom of the chart. The summary at the top shows the total features in that package.

hmmm i must be doing something wrong, because under "all" i see the Feature Distribution listed as 53, for the next upgrade to me, if i use "new to me" i don't see any features listed at the bottom at all. Still confused

Gold has 52 features, not 53 (everything but Bible Word Study: Septuagint Translation). But I confess I can only see two additional features from Silver in the Feature Distribution section and they are Bible Word Study: Senses and Bible Sense Lexicon.

Yes, the "Features" listing only appears under "all", not when you select "New to Me" (not sure if that is an error or what). In any case, you can get the same info by just clicking "all", and the symbols will show what you have based on your new package. If you are at Silver, you don't have the Bible Sense Lexicon, Bible Word Studies:Senses, or Bible Word Study:Septuagint Translation features. (However, in another thread, there is a discussion that if you have the Septuagint Translation feature functioning in L4 (because you have the Rahlfs Septuagint with Logos Morphology), it will still work in L5, so you actually would (if I understand correctly) actually have this feature, even if you only owned L5 Silver.)

Yup! You have to count Data Sets as well as Feature Distribution when accounting for the numerical difference of Features between packages.
