Question about new resources in updated base packages

On the Upgrade page, there is one resource which the upgrade calculator says is new to me but I think I already have it:
New Topical Textbook
Isn't that the same as this but with just a different cover image?
Or is there a new edition of it? If so, why can't we find the "sold separately" page for it?

Rosie, I can't remember now which book I checked but an individual title that the page said was new to me was already in my library.

Hi Rosie
There are a lot of resources that are falling into the category of having been changed or updated since purchased. Customer Services will be the only ones who can confirm what the actual difference between your copy and the one in the bundle is.

Hi Rosie, I'm guessing the book is almost exactly the same, but has been given extensive tagging for the new Topic Guide.

I think you are not correct in your guess. Many many books have been tagged in this way.
In the posts from Logos employees that have explained why some resources might appear as new to you they have never cited tagging as one of the reasons. It has always been a new edition or addition of some kind.

The new version is a separate resource. The content is identical, except the new edition is more faithful to the printed work, so:
- The new version has an introductory essay by Torrey.
- The new version has page numbers.
- The lists in the old version are numbered, but are not in the new version.
- The old version occasionally has updated language, but not the new version.
Both the new and the old versions have LCV tagging, and show up in the Topic section of guides. This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!
