Linking problems to TDNT (Kittel)

I have Kittel in my library. However, when I right-click and look up a lemma (ἔλαιον from James 5:14 in this case), Kittel doesn't show up.

Also, I can look it up in the LEH LXX Lexicon, but the link to Kittel (there abbreviated as TWNT) isn't going to the word in Kittel. (Other links to Kittel in LEH LXX Lexicon seem to be working).

The list in your right click menu is limited to only about five resources, is Kittel prioritized in your library high enough to be on the list?

Good thought. I didn't know it was limited to five resources. Anyway, I checked, and it was indeed prioritized high enough.

For some reason, however, it doesn't come up for ἔλαιον even though there is an entry for it in Kittel. I checked some other words, and Kittel came up. I think the problem is that the ἔλαιον entry for Kittel isn't recognized, either in the Logos software right-click or by links, such as from the LEH LXX Lexicon.

I don't have Logos open, but there's an old thread about tagging errors in TDNT: Bug (Indexing): TDNT - σκύβαλον and Strong’s Greek #4657 not found?. Perhaps you've found another example of the same thing? I'll add a link in the other thread.

Thanks for the report! The problem is a missing ἔλαιον headword from the TDNT, and that also results in the LEH LXX Lexicon link not working.

The good news is we are currently doing a full update of the TDNT which will fix these problems. Unfortunately, I do not have an exact date when all this work will be done.

The LEH LXX Lexicon will get corrected once we have TDNT ready.
