Highlighting

When I click on a phrase or sentence to highlight, I then click "highlight." The pop up gives me an option that includes "document." I have several documents listed under "document." Is there a way to set my preferred document so that, until I change it, it will always highlight my preferred document?

Is there a way to set my preferred document so that, until I change it, it will always highlight my preferred document?

There are two ways: You can set it what I call "sticky"… this uses the "Most Recent Note Document." If you open a note file document or change the save to document setting, it will remember this choice until you open another note file or change the "save to" setting. The second way is a bit more permanent (i.e. you won't change the setting by merely opening a note document). This is by selecting the specific note file you want to save ALL highlights to (until you change it again).

To do either of these: From the iPad homepage, click the gear wheel in the upper right corner. Select "settings" and then "documents for highlights." If you want to permanently (until you change it again) set a specific document file, select it from the list. If you want a "sticky" setting (which is what I use), select "Most Recent Note Document".

If you have more questions, please let us know. [:)]

Thank you! That worked. I knew that there was a feature I was missing. I appreciate your help.
