Cannot open Logos on MAC

I recently purchased Logos.

I had a hard time finding the "download" website, but after sometime I found this website: http://www.logos.com/support/logos5/install

I followed those directions.

I downloaded the file, added to Applications, Signed-In which prompted the lengthly download; once downloaded completely, my computer unexpectedly needed to be restarted. I restarted the computer then I tried to re-open the Logos program, no luck.

I click to open Logos, but the "Signing In" screen appears only for a few seconds and then nothing happens and the program closes.

Please help, I would like to use this product.

    Hi Nicholas

Perhaps you could let us know which of the base packages you purchased.

Also which operating system version are you running.

One problem that is sometimes not handled well by Logos is having insufficient space on the hard drive so you might like to check this.

In the meantime it can do no harm to download the engine again and reinstall it (you will just overwrite the original). It is wise not to interrupt any subsequent downloads and indexing operations.

On a new install these can go on for hours.

    Hi Nicholas,

It looks like you have Logos 5. Please post Logos 5 releated questions/problems there.

It looks like you may have a malformed catalog.db file. Can close Logos 5 and navigate to /Users/nicks3187/Library*/Application Support/Logos4/Data/ehnmy9jk.uoo/ and rename the Library Catalog folder and restart Logos 5?

*If you’re on 10.7.x or 10.8.x (Lion or Mountain Lion),
the Library folder will be hidden by default. If you don’t see a Library
folder in your user folder click the Go menu, hold the alt key, and you will
see Library in the Go menu. Click Library there and follow the
    aforementioned file path.
