highlighting causes extreme slow down 5.0SR4
Trying to use highliter function causes major slow down or lock up.
Also "Logos 5" is not listed as an option in searching site.

What platform, Mac or PC?
Can you past a picture or specifically describe what you are doing that causes the problem so others can try and duplicate? It doesn't appear to be a generic problem so we'll need some details to help.

There was an issue on Mac in this area which was to be fixed in SR3

Enable logging, perform some highlighting, close L5 and upload logos.log as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Give us some examples of highlighting.

It was. No matter how hard I try, I cannot produce a lag between typing and display, which was the issue previously.

The problem with notes in the Mac version was only present when the highlighter panel was open. That was corrected in SR-3
