Pictures on the Homepage

This may be pointless to ask, but I see all these videos of the homepage filled with pictures and maps, but my homepage never has those. Why is that? I have blog pics and pics of the book of the day, but no illustrations from Bible handbooks, etc. Why is this?

1. Are you using a netbook with a small 10" monitor or somethjing like that? Damian reported that as an issue with smaller netbooks.

2. Did you download the free engine, or did you purchase a crossgrade from 3>4? The free engine does not include some resources like infographics which are a new license, and which frequently show up on the home page.

Using a 13" monitor and bought the upgrade from 3 to 4 silver. Running on a 4gigram 1.87 dual core 120gig hard drive laptop.

Next Q: are you seeing blank spots where pictures should be? I find it odd since I've got a picture on almost but not quite every home page.

Have you got resources like:

1000 biblical images (approximate title - I'm at a different computer)
infographics (type open infographics in the command box)
images of the holy land

Those are the types of sources that my pictures typically come from. As soon as I know you have them ( I'm sure some are in silver) I'll scratch my head and stare at my monitor till some new possibility strikes me.

yep, I have all three of those...I do request everything to be on my homepage...am I bogging it down and not leaving room, maybe? Also, no empty spots without pics. thanks

Hmm, I don't think you're bogging it down, unless you have very very little memory, but even when I ran it on a 512MB laptop I was getting pictures.... I went through and checked/unchecked all the features so I only saw one at a time. I saw pictures when i had devotionals exclusively checked, but not once with excerpts. Since you mentioned devotionals that's not the issue.

What is your monitor resolution set to? I'm running out of ideas unless you just hit F5 a few times to refresh and see if a picture finally pops up.

Is indexing complete? if indexing is not complete you may not get pictures, particularly from infographics and a few others.

indexing done, plenty of memory. Don't know my screen res, but I can see pics elsewhere, they just don't generate on the homepage.

I have the same problem on my 2GHz 2gb Lenovo Notebook. No pictures on the Homepage....but mine may be due to it NEVER completing the initial indexing (for the first time) over and over and over again....for weeks and weeks...and with over 4,300 resources that is a bummer...
