We have not heard that there will be. The iPad/iPhone version recently got a rework. I think a lot of folks would like to see some of the new tools and functions in L5 make it to the iPad, but that might be awhile.

To add to Marks comments and to clarify a common misunderstanding…
The mobile app syncs to L4 (and now L5), but is completely independent. The mobile app isn't "L4" and there won't be an "L5." The mobile app continually undergoes development and new features are added regularly. (i.e. The ability to do a two finger scroll was recently made available on the Vyrso App and is coming soon to the Logos one).

Good point I overlooked. Maybe a common misconception.

Due to monetary reason, I have not even upgraded to Logos4. Someone recently bought me an iPad2...does the Logos iPad app work with the version of Logos before 4?

I may be wrong on this one but I believe you need an L4 base package or cross grade in order for your library to work with the IPad App.

You can download and use the iPad app for free, and any resources you've purchased in Logos will be available to the app (assuming you sign in with the same email address, and that the resource is available for the iPad). You won't be able to sync notes, favorites and so on, and you won't have access to the reverse interlinears that you'd get with an L4/5 purchase, but apart from that you should be fine.

I don't think that's true anymore, although I could be mistaken...

I would definitely go with the info Mark has provided. He's more up-to-speed on things then I am.

Yes, that would be my understanding too. [:D]

In order for your notes or reading plans to sync though you will want to download the current free engine for Logos 4 if you have not. Those are needed to sync notes and such.

You are correct Mark. They did away with that requirement more than a year ago. Any Logos or Vyrso resources which are mobile enabled will work with the mobile app.
