Compare my book list with L5 upgrade packages

Thanks for doing the hard work on some brilliant new tools in L5!

I wish to choose which L5 upgrade package based on additional books, not just discount (which is a nice incentive, thank you). I have 3,129 resources plus more on order and Scholars Gold (LE) package.  I am sure this feature would help many and potentially 'run the the invoice'.

Where can i see and compare my existing book list compared with upgrade lists?  I recall there used to be such a facility in earlier versions. To be able to do this would really help my upgrade decision.

Also, with so many resources to upgrade, would i be smarter to order a DVD upgrade package?

And, with such an extensive resource list upgrade, can i manage that process in several internet sessions?

The videos describe the improvements as tools i will definitely use and i am excited about the improvements and i am very happy to pay for the additional tools -thank you team!!

Go to http://www.logos.com/upgrade and click on "New to you" as well as the package you want.

You might want to look at Bronze and Silver as any Scholar's Gold does not  align with L5 Gold  (different packages despite the similar name!).

All the books you own are retained and are included (discounted) in calculating your upgrade cost.

Also, with so many resources to upgrade, would i be smarter to order a DVD upgrade package?

You would have a download of roughly 1.9 GB with updated resources and new L5 data sets in addition to a download of your new resources! How many nmew resources?

Go here: http://www.logos.com/upgrade and click on a package and then on "New to You" and you'll get black dots on the resources you will be getting that you don't have. Note that if you lack just one book in a set it will say "new to You" though you will only get the one you are missing.

Don't miss the extras by clicking on the little Customize button. Here's the page: https://www.logos.com/topproducts There are some fine values in this offering.

If you have a slow Internet connection or are metered, yes.

EDIT: my fingers were not as fast as David's. He's given you the info you need.

Hmmm - I don't see that and I have been trying to figure out the black dots vs grey dots thing. I have L4 Scholars (JG) + number of resources purchased separately. When I go to the /upgrade page (which says it is customised for me) I see things like this screenshot below (filtered for 'New to you')

I don't have the Lexham English Septuagint or the Apocryphal New Testament etc., but why is only the Lexham English Septuagint with a black dot, and why only with the Gold package? Strange.

Are you using Safari? I get results like that on Safari. They're supposed to be working on it. Collapsing the section and then expanding it again tends to move the dots to the right place, at least for me.

I believe that the black dots are supposed to represent the items you have already in that collection.  Problem is the are a couple of rendering bugs here that need to be fixed.  You can sort of get it to work is you select a column, other than the default it starts with.  Click on new to me and then click on show all.  But agin it needs to be fixed.  Thanks for the report of this issue.

And the gray dots are the items in the packages.  Features, resources, etc.

Yar... that was it. They should make half the Logos staff use Macs only instead of Windows machines. This sort of thing wouldn't happen. ;-)

Sorry Patrick but its not just a Mac problem!

I get the same running Chrome on Windows - need to collapse and expand sections for the black dot to appear in the correct column
