I have some books that I wish to delete from my L4 Library some duplicate books. How do I do it?
Open the Settings pane. At the bottom there is a "Hidden resources" area, expand it and drag the unwanted books from your library to there. I've hidden stuff like the old L3 help files... won't be needing those in L4.
Thanks for responding. However, I wish to delete duplicate books and not keep them on my computer and not keep them hidden.
It is a syntax thing. Hidden = deleted. When they are hidden the resource is no longer on the local hard drive.

If Logos is synchronising according to our licenses, how could there possibly be any duplicates in L4. I know it was possible in L3, but shouldn't happen in L4.

I have followed the advice given above. Keven Becker's advise has not deleted nor hidden the files. They keep coming back. I also tried deleting them in L3. Does not work there either. L4 has transferred both the 1.0 versions of the files and version 3.0. Each version represents about 400 MB of disk space which I would like to recoup for other usage.
Just to be sure, which folder are you looking in to see if your L4 resources are being deleted?
I do not believe this is correct. Deleting would require finding out what file it is and getting rid of it from the resource folder. But I am afraid that Logos might just redownload it. Hiding it is intended to just keep you from seeing it in library/search results. I think the file is still supposed to be there even when it is dragged to the hiddin space in settings.
What you are saying is you have aresource.lsf, aresource.lix and aresource.lbxlls in your L4 resource folder? Same filename but different suffix? Again that should not happen. If so then delete the *.lsf and *.lix files to the recycle bin and see if L4 still works with the *.lbxlls file.
EDIT: be sure your L4 resource folder is in this path ...\Logos4\Data\{random}\ResourceManager\Resources
