My iPad Logos app seems to be trying to download all of my resources again after upgraded my laptop to Logos 5. Is this normal.

    Hi Harrett

No, this is not normal. Upgrading to L5 shouldn't trigger a mobile app resource download.

    Anything else changed?

You will see network activity as it downloads the updated library listing along with metadata and book images.

Resources themselves are only downloaded when you tell it to.

As Graham and Todd described, I upgraded to L5 on my iPad and only experienced the update of my library list with the new resources and a couple of downloaded book updates.  Could this be it?  Did you happen to upgrade to a package with a bunch of new books?

Did you do a fresh install of the mobile app? If so, did you previously have many downloaded resources?

Thanks everyone for your help. All is well. I panicked needlessly when I misinterpreted what I was seeing. Not Logos fault but mine!
