How to click on words to link to BDAG?

I've got my ESV with Interlinear window open and a open BDAG window (along with other open windows). I want to be able to click on a word in my ESV and/or Interlinear and have the word appear in my BDAG. When I click on a word, I end of getting Webster Dictionary or another dictionary. But I can't seem to link words to BDAG so I can immediately see a definition of the word. I was able to do this in 3.0, but can't in 4.0.

Any ideas on how to do this?

I don't know how to do this either.

What I do instead is have a standard Greek interlinear Bible open and click on the Greek words.

are you asking to click an english word and have it take you to bdag?

Right mouse click on the English word, (you do not need the interlinear open) for the menu, select lemma and then you should see your lexicons. The alternate plan is described above by having the greek text open in sync and double click on the greek word. The traditional reverse interlinears are coming back, so you may get your double click to lexicon back.

That was because you had two resources in L3, an ESV Bible and ESV NT Reverse Interlinear. Only the Reverse Interlinear responded that way. L4 presents an ESV Bible with Interlinear attributes, so the surface English text is preferred for keylinking via double-click. The L3 KJV also gave preference to the surface English even though it contained Strong's numbers.

Logos have promised bibles with a full interlinear view (as in L3), so this may be your answer.

It's not possible to do what John asks at this time. At least not in the way he wants to do it.

BDAG works great from the right-click menu, and from double-clicking on a word in a Greek interlinear (like the NA27 interlinear).

BDAG works great from the right-click menu, and from double-clicking on a word in a Greek interlinear (like the NA27 interlinear).

Since the right click menu involves scrolling down to BDAG (which at first is out of sight)

I prefer using sympathetic highlighting with esv and na27 open. Double Click on the NA27 and I am immediately taken to BDAG. Works well for me!

On my system this is not speedy, but Its a pretty good alternative. I don't know it will work on your system. Make sure the BDAG is prioritized as your first Lexicon in the priority list (respond back if you do not know how to prioritize). Open the "Information" window (Tools>information). in the ESV, right click on the word you want to look up and select "show information". The second item on the information list should be your BDAG definition.

The information window also updates when you hover over a word, but it hesitates too long to refresh the data for my liking.

Open "My Library," click "Prioritize" on the right hand side of the "My Library" screen, type in the book you want to prioritize in the "My Library" window, then drag the book over to the "Prioritize" section.
