I have been able to access the view parallel versions frame. However, according to the help file there should be an 'A' which I can click on to see the differences. Where on earth is it??????

and then you should see the little "A" buttons
My view is not like this there is no ‘A’

When you click the context menu to the left can you see the Show differences link, as in below? Also, how did you acquire Logos 4? Are you upgrading from 3? Did you upgrade your resources or just install Logos 4 on top of Logos 3? Wondering if that would make a difference... I suppose it's possible the Logos 3 Bibles are not formatted to work right with Text Comparison, so if you do not upgrade you might not get this feature?

No I don't get the 'show differences' option, nor the ignore case ones either.
I got Logos 4 by upgrading from Logos 3. I went through the whole process of downloading the upgrade from the website and following the instructions.
What's missing?
What base package do you have?
My base package is 'Bible Study'
According to http://www.logos.com/upgrade the Parallel Passages, Text Comparison and Version Comparison are not included in the Bible Study base package (scroll to the bottom of the page).
EDIT: read it wrong. Parallel Passages is included, the other two are not.
