Hey guys I am having this error "Error loading book - could not load the specific book" on my 2 Generation IPOD in both my Logos app and Vyrso app. I deleted the logos app and reinstalled, only to have the same issue. I recently bought and downloaded Logos 5 on my computer and I believe this is the reason why my Logos app on my IPOD is not working. On my IPOD I am unable to download the latest updates for the app because it requires iOS 4.3 and my IPOD is not able to be updated to that iOS due to apple restrictions. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated and thank you in advance!

    Hi Nicholas,

Can you post a set of logs of the behavior? Instructions are here. -->http://www.logos.com/support/iOS/crash

Instead of sending the logs to the recipient that is in the mail box by default, send it to yourself so you can post the logs here.

    Hi Nicholas,

Upgrading to Logos 5 on the desktop should not have had any effect on whether or not your older version of Logos on iOS would still work - but I could be wrong.  I will check with our development team tomorrow and get back with you on this thread.  In any case, current versions of Logos' mobile applications won't run on anything older than iOS 4.3.

Current versions of Logos for Android won't run on anything older than Android 2.2, and Logos 5 no longer supports Windows XP or OSX 10.5 - in short, time marches on because of advances in hardware and operating systems.  It becomes increasingly difficult and expensive to support old and rarely used platforms while at the same time trying to take advantage of the improvements offered by current operating systems and hardware.
