Bug: L5 Slow "Search In" Box Population on First Launch

I have found that when I restart Logos and attempt to run a basic library search I have to endure a very long wait (probably 45-60 seconds) for the "Search In" box to populate so that I can select a specific collection.
This only seems to occur during the first search of each fresh restart of Logos.

I cannot duplicate that problem in Windows. I see you're running Mac. Maybe one of the Mac users can help.

I don't find this on either my aging iMac or my new Air.
A basic search for River (after a restart) took perhaps 2 or 3 seconds.

Did you attempt to limit your search to a specific collection?

No - the whole library (over 2000 resources)

My problem is not with the speed of the search, but rather with the speed of Logos in populating the "search in" box where you select a specific collection. As noted, above this happens after a fresh restart in Logos, and the only way to reproduce the issue is by selecting a specific collection.

Well I don't have many collections (<10) but my box populates almost instantaneously.

How many is a lot? My dropdown populates with almost no delay. It includes 78 collections, plus all the tags & ratings, plus all the series names.
I would suggest enabling logging, duplicating the problem, and then upload the logos log http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Logos_5_for_OS_X

I just updated to the latest beta and am not seeing the delay anymore. However, I am not sure if it is related to the current beta, or something else. I uninstalled a SIMBL module called Afloat today along with SIMBL itself. It was causing problems with another app. I noticed online that SIMBL has a bad rap of playing poorly with other apps. I wonder if it is possible it was related... I will repost if the problem shows up again.
