1. Create BWS on ἔγερσις
2. Expand Example uses - there are none despite the use of the word in Matthew. It does not matter which source I use for grammatical relationships.
Interesting, since it does appear in Textual Searches.
I will create a case for the issue.
It does seem that the Example Uses keeps things simple: Subject, Object, Predicator etc. This hapax would need a sentence to describe its function — part of nominal phrase within adverbial clause? [:)]
Hi MJ.
Jon is actually on the right track. Not everything will always have an example use.
The "Example Uses" section basically takes some options from the "Verses" view of Grammatical Relationships. If you click on "Settings", you'll see an option for "Verses" or "By Related Word".
The "Example Uses" section takes examples from there; basically up to three examples for every section (Subject, Object, Verb, etc.) where the three examples all use different words. The word δοξα gives some good examples on what sorts of things show up in "Verses", and then how that maps to "Example Uses".
However — particularly with words that aren't verbs and don't occur frequently — that section will be blank. There just isn't the data with infrequent words to fuel Example Uses the way we currently do.
That, and conjunctions/particles/interjections have no grammatical relationships data at all, so they would cause both Example uses and Grammatical Relationships to be blank.
That said; we could be a little more informative and graceful in this situation. I've asked Tonya to append a note to the case for the designers to consider what to do in such situations.
Thanks Rick, that's very useful to know.
