Create a Topical Bible

I'm still a newbie, after 18 months, and even though I use Logos everyday I realize I don't know how to tap into half of it's potential. So I'm hoping some experienced user can give me some advice.

My goal for next year is to create my own topical Bible. I'm aware of Morris Proctor's article, http://blog.logos.com/2012/09/logos-4-create-your-own-topical-bible/, but I don't think this is what I am looking for. If I understand him correctly, then he is saying to create note files for each topic with a list of scripture references.

I don't really know enough about Logo's features to know what to ask, so if anyone has any insight or experience in creating their own topical Bible or study Bible, I'd love to hear your input.

There is information on here somewhere about creating a Bible format personal Book. (I'll post if if I can find it.)

What I am doing is creating a single massive document (I'll doubtless have to split it into several) and then compile it as a Personal book in Logos.

What does your document look like? Does it have the biblical text with your notes as links to the text or what?

I'll show you a skeleton section from Genesis so you can get the idea. This is before I start transffering my notes into it mind you.

I am making some changes along the way but so far...

"old testament" is a level one heading
Genesis is Level 2, but I will probably shift it down to 3 and make "Pentateuch" a level two heading to contain those books.
The book title is the next level heading down
The chapter numbers, (e.g. Genesis 1) is the final level down.

All in all I will have everything eventually nice and nested for easy finding. As you can tell from my sample I am trying to find a method to load the docx file from Logos, it is not working yet.

These are Milestones. These enable Logos to identify that my commentary stuff on 1 Timothy is at [[@bible.76.1.1]]

1.1.2]] is Book.chapter.verse

Genesis is the first book in the Bible. Malachi 4:6 is [[@bible.49.4.6]]

In order to make room for deuterocanonicals, Matthew begins at # 61. Thus Matthew 1:1 is [[@bible.61.1.1]]

I am not a computer geek, but I am attempting to send this file. It will be compressed, so you will have to extract it. I believe it will also probably be in compatibility mode, so you may have to make a copy of it or whatever. It is a large file and takes a while to open. I used it to make my own commentaries of individual Bible books. Let me know how it comes out.

Is there a base template for the entire Bible?

Wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/User_Contributed_Personal_Books includes link to Files thread => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/42950.aspx that has the 1901 American Standard Version Bible without Chapter and Verse numbers (checking Bible Text Only does cause chapter and verse #'s to appear on screen).

The Bible milestones are a bit different since book abbreviations were used.
