Does the "Clause Search" feature REQUIRE at minimum the "Silver" package???

Under Logos 4, I originally purchased the Bible Study Library and have since purchased additional resources separately. My interest in Logos 5 is primarily due to the new Timeline feature and Clause Search feature.

If I'm following the upgrade web pages correctly, in order to get the Timeline feature, I'd have to upgrade (at minimum) to the new Bronze package at a cost of $306.48. And to get the new Clause Search features, I'd have to upgrade (at minimum) to the new Silver package at a cost of $532. 65.

If so, I'm very disappointed, as I would expect something like the Clause Search feature to be very helpful to the basic study of Bible texts (e.g. my Bible Study Library)--not something that would be restricted to higher-end packages.

Am I following this correctly? $306.48 for me to get the new Timeline feature, and $532.65 to get the new Clause Search feature? If so, that prices me out of these features. Sad

Thanks for the quick reply. I think the key statements in these two links as related to my question/concern would be the excerpts I pulled out and pasted in below. But just as a sidenote, I had read Bob Pritchett's post a few days ago, but when viewing the upgrade pages, it looks like the "Clause Search" feature isn't available in any Logos 5 package below the Silver package. I guess I'm still confused as to why it's not included as a feature in the Starter and Bronze packages if it would be included in a Minimum Crossgrade.

- There will be a Minimum Crossgrade for Logos 5. It is not ready yet, and pricing has not been established, but we expect it'll be under $100. (It will use dynamic pricing as well, but will probably be the same price for most users since almost all the content will be completely new to Logos 5.)

- The Minimal Crossgrade is being configured, but we expect it will contain all/most of the unique new data sets (Timeline, Bible Facts, Clause Database, Bible Sense Lexicon, Phrases, Preaching Themes, Thematic Outlines, etc.). Some Logos 5 features only "light-up" or add value when specific books are present, and we're figuring out which ones should be included in this crossgrade

We're still working on the exact contents that the MCs will include. The smaller one, which might lack one or two features, will probably be between $75 and $150. The larger one, with all the features plus a few core resources, will probably be between $150 and $300, depending on which version of the software you're moving from. I believe you've nailed it! Lower cost and somewhat dependent on whether one has done a lesser upgrade, but at a later time.

Like everyone else, I guess I'll just have to wait and see what's included in the minimum crossgrade. But... I can't help but wonder "why?" those two features would not be listed in the Starter and Bronze packages if they plan to make them available in the crossgrade. I do think they seem to be two of the more basic (less exotic) new features--and the "Clause Search" feature does seem to me a feature that could be very helpful to all Logos customers--even those with one of the lower-end packages like my Bible Study library. So I hope the Timeline and Clause Search features are included in the minimum crossgrade when it's available.

I would also like this feature to be added to the bronze edition (maybe at a little extra cost?). I think it would be of added value, though all the extra books (of silver/gold) aren't adding much for me (at this moment)
