Danish letters missing

Hi,
In the amazing Sermon Starter Guide there is an export build in: Copy to Pages (or other).
But the Danish letters are thereby changed to symbols, hence missing.
Thanks for the update to 5 - to me it makes the use of my existing resources much better, and that equals a better library.

I love Danish letters! My favorite Danish bakery is the one in Pella, Iowa!

That sounds like a font problem. What font are you using?

My choice of font doesn't change anything.
In L5 Helvetica is my standard.
And, Kim Pagel, they are lucky in Pella, if they don't have to write the signs with these letters included: ær fæde og ødre [:D]

On the contrary, your choice of font might change everything. A unicode font is a unicode font is a unicode font; i.e., it will be the same in whatever font you choose so long as it is a unicode font. The problem is that not every font has all characters. I found this on the internet regarding Helvetica
Helvetica was placed at number one on FontShop Germany’s list “Best Fonts of All Time”. This font has various versions like Cyrillic, Light, Greek, Condensed, Inserat, Textbook, Rounded and, Neue etc and each version has got love and appreciation from all over the world. If you want to create professional printout, you should consider a commercial font. Free fonts often have not all characters and signs, and have no kerning pairs. Before actually buying the font, lets have a look at history of Helvetica font and its versions.
Note two things: (1) There are different versions of Helvetica for different languages (2) Free fonts often do not have all characters.
I would try another font which you know to have all of the characters to see whether the problem persists.

Thanks - that unicode-fun you mention has been the problem the last 25 years with danish language on english-born systems.
But if I copy-paste from L5 to textedit, there are no problems.
If I Print/export from Danish resources to textedit, there are no problems either.
I've only noticed the problem in the new Sermon Starter Guide copy-function.
So I don't think that there is a problem in my OS-level choice of language and the connected choice of unicode.

Helvetica is no free font. It's the default font on every Swedish computer I've ever had, and it wouldn't surprise me if it's the same in the rest of Scandinavia. It is perfectly capable of handling Danish letters.
Interestingly, though, when I just tried to choose the Helvetica font here in the forum editor, I got a font that is definitely not Helvetica. Not even the same font family. It looks right in the menu, but what I get when I use it is something else.

Gunnar,
There are various ways to copy from the Sermon Starter Guide. Which way are you using? Because you mentioned copying to Pages and Textedit, I assume you are talking about the copying function in the Thematic Outlines section (see screen shot). Is that correct?
I realize that fonts have already been discussed, but does this error occur if you try using other fonts?
Screen shots of the text errors would also be helpful.

Brisa,
I'm gone beta today, and I have just now noticed, that the problem is gone.
Logos 5.0a Beta 2 Yes, the problem occurred in the copy-function, but now it works perfect: The danish letters are present without any tampering with fonts.
Thank you all for input and kind response.
