Bug: Community ratings and tags not showing on newly-dowloaded books

I just upgraded to an L5 base package, and I don't have any community ratings or tags showing on the resources that I just downloaded.

How long do I have to wait before they show up? or is this a bug? Most of these are not new resources to the Logos ecosystem so they should have plenty of ratings and tags.

This explains a bug that happened to me. I think it is a bug in that the milestone recorded for community updates doesn't take into account resources that are downloaded after the updates last synced. I thought this was something we wanted(!) I would interested in the explanation, however, because overall behaviour of Ratings seems to have reverted back to L4.

I am still seeing community ratings where I haven't applied any rating of my own (in 5.0a B1)

I still have community ratings and community tags for books I already had. Something is broken--it's not a question of what we want. Having a half-working feature is worse than having a fully-functional feature that one doesn't want. I personally would like to see it working, but with an option to turn it off.

BTW, 2 days and a couple of program restarts have made no difference in getting the community tags and ratings to download.

I was being half-serious. With newly downloaded books even Clearing its rating does not bring up a community value.

I bought a couple more books today. No community tags or ratings for them either. Is this a bug in the desktop application or the server?

I have the same problem when I sort by descending "Last Updated" to find newly downloaded resources. Only the titles appear for the new resources. When I add tags, they may or may not appear. When I sort alphabetically by Title, information in all columns appears for all resources. [:S]

There is a new option in 5.0b Beta 1 that allows us to turn off community ratings and tags altogether, so if one is annoyed by the halfway working feature, one can at least get rid of it. But that doesn't obviate the need for Logos to fix the bug if it's still there.
