Personal Book Builder

Hi,

I recently downloaded and installed Libronix including the update and then tried to follow the "Personal Book Builder Tutorial". When I tried to create a new document by selecting "Personal Books" it was not listed as an option? Has anybody else come across this problem? Is there something that I'm missing.

Libronix 3 had a Personal Book Builder for html documents, which required a license for creating PBB's that is no longer available for purchase.

Logos 4 and Logos 5 have a Personal Book tool that uses docx documents; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books

Yes, this is no problem at all.

In that sense, they act the same as standard Logos books

I just tried it with a Word document I imported as a personal book and the reading plan placed everything into the first day and the rest of the days were empty. How do I fix that?

I think I have figured it out - it looks as though if you are importing a Word document, then Logos uses the heading styles in Word to divide up the document. If chapter titles, headings etc... are not marked in Word using those styles then it can't divide up the document according to days, sessions etc... If they are there, then the reading plan works and doesn't place the entire document into the first session or day.

Yes, that sounds right.

Logos needs to have some basis for "splitting" - page numbers would also work if present in your document.
