Caanot get Logos for Android to work on phone - opens app and states "error" - unable to do anything

Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred
Installed from Google Play.  App Info shows I've installed Bible version 2.2.3 but when I attempted to execute the application I get a brief flash that shows BIble that quickly gives way to the Bible icon and the word Error.  Pressing the settings button or any other action is pointless except to escape the app.  evice

App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso)
Version 2.2.3 from Google Play store

Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic)
DROID RAZR MAXX (Motorola)

Android Version – (2.2, 2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1)
Version 4.0.4

    Hi Roger, have you tried re-installing the app? If not please try that. Also, upon launching the app make sure you have an internet connection.

    How much free space do you have on your device? I'm wondering if it's failing to unzip and install some content post install.
