A new Logos advert has just been tweeted ... 'Logos Bible Software 5 for Families'
As I watched it, I was stunned by the marketing hyperbolae of the 'Get Logos ... get a perfect family' ... I do not know if all US adds are so cheesy ... but it did lead me to thinking ...
L4 became unusable as a family software when the current work space was synced across all work stations (!) .. Bob's great licensing approach neutered by a design decision ... but what about Tablets?
If I had two or more tablets, to what extent would they work independently? I presume that everybody's highlights and notes would end up on my account (and mine theirs) (this is a a different issue) ... but what about resources? When downloading resources to an iPad, would i have the same resources on all of the iPads, or would each be independent?
Thanks.

Hi Martin

Your visible library would be identical on all iPads.
You can control which resources are actually downloaded to each one.

Thanks Graham
That looks like it may be the way to go when giving access to the family.
Does anybody know a video of the iPad software in action? Preferably not the Logos 'rubbish' (all noise, no content) .. something like Mark's excellent videos ... more instructional and real?
Thanks again.

Though I haven't looked at Marks videos yet, there are some non advertising type how to use videos here, though they're on an iPhone but should have similar functionality in an iPad.

Thanks you ... that help a lot.
I was quite surprised at the navigation ... there seemed to be a lot of swiping between user documents etc. but a dedicated button to go to the 'logos news' and to 'share my location'. This seemed to be a strange priority ... 'sharing my location' ... why? 'updates' ... look at the settings icon next to it ...
These are just initai impressions, and may now have been changed ... and are obviously not deal breakers!!! Otherwise it looks good ... I will have to look at how much money remains after the L5 upgrade.
