Reading ahead confusion
When I set up reading plans for either Bible or books, and find time to read ahead of schedual the "daily" breaks get lost and don't keep up? That is the same on my PC and iPhone. Using Version 4.

I am unsure what you are asking. I am able to read ahead… Since today is monday, I can read today's reading, then read tuesday's reading. Tomorrow, it will report nothing to read, or I can read Wednesday's reading. Are you not seeing this behavior?

The daily breaks only show up for about 3 days ahead. Then they quite. So if I was to read a week ahead the "Daily breaks" dispear. It's always been like that?
It's not too big a problem on my PC. I can shut the program down and re-start and they show back up.
But it's frustrating on my 1Phone. If I shut off reading on my iPhone and 1 hr. later start it up again it dosn't open where I left off.

Does the behaviour you are describing depend on whether you are offline or not?
I seem to remember that only some Reading Plan details were downloaded and, hence, available offline but thought it was about two weeks worth.

Rusty - What version of the mobile app are you using?
Graham - I believe that the 2 week threshold was eliminated when reading plans documents began to download to the device directly.

My PC's always online. But it happens there too.

Thanks for the info about the two week limit being gone - that is good news.
Also noted, after posting my previous reply, that Rusty is seeing the same problem on PC as well so something sounds very strange

I just created a brand new 10 day plan (in L5), and was able to successfully "read" through the entire plan just now. I'm a fast reader [:D].
Can you create a new 10 day plan (one of the default plans) using the ESV and see if you still have the problem?

On 4.6a SR-2 on my PC. I created a 10 day plan on with the ESV. After about the 4th day the daily markers quit.
Work around - go back to the home page, click on the top visable read for today item and everything goes back to normal.
It's not a big deal, I just find it kinda strange. Especially when I have a day off and can read ahead. And I had time to form it. [:)]

Weird. I would create a new thread in the L4 PC forum with the prefix BUG: to catch Logos attention. You should create a link to this thread in that post.
