Bug: Full-Screen Mode Doesn't Play Nice with Reading View

I attempted to view a Bible in reading view while in full-screen mode and encountered a bug that causes Logos to switch to the desktop space. Logos, also, then hides your dock and disables your menubar. If I four finger swipe to return to the Logos space, Logos automatically zips me back to the desktop space. The only way to stop this vicious cycle is to switch to a different app and then quit Logos.

I have dynamic logging enabled and have attached logs (not sure if that will help).

Hi Jonathan,

I am running the beta and could not replicate what I think you are experiencing.

What I did was

Open Logos
Set to full screen mode - This creates a new space for logos to occupy.
Set one of the panels to reading mode.
Four finger swipe back to one of my pre-existing spaces worked ok (the other spaces had normal access to dock and tool bar).
Four finger swipe back to Logos - still happily in reading mode.
Is this the problem coming up?
Escape takes me out of reading mode to full screen mode.
But a second Escape does not take me out of full screen mode - for that I have to move the cursor to the top of the screen and come out manually.

My problem occurs as soon as I enter reading mode while at the same time being in full-screen mode. The problem for me is unmistakable ;-). Sounds like it is not affecting you. Are you running 5.0a beta 1?

Perhaps, one contributing problem for me is that I have two "desktop" spaces set up. I have Logos set to open to the second space when not in full-screen mode. It appears that when I then open Logos in full-screen mode and then set a panel to reading mode that it reverts me to this second desktop space.

Screenshot of my Mission Control. I have Logos set to open in desktop 2. After opening Logos I usually then push the arrows in the corner to open in full-screen mode. As stated above, Logos seems to be reverting to desktop 2.

Discovered that this IS the contributing problem. If you set up Logos to open in an assigned space and then attempt to open in reading view from full-screen mode, Logos will revert to its assigned space and not allow you to regain access to your full screen app.

I can reproduce the issue and will report it to Development.
