Is there a way to get Logos 4 to "discover" new resources from a libronix CD I just purchased?

    First of all, if these are new licenses, you should just call support and have them add the licenses for the resources to your account.  You will probably need some registration code from the CD to identify the product you purchased.

    Logos4 cannot add new licenses from a Libronix CD.   You can, however, install Libronix from the CD, and have it sync the licenses for you.

    If you have another reason to scan the CD then the following steps will work:

    1. You can do that using the "scan" command in the command bar.  Enter "scan" followed by the full path to the folder on the CD that you want Logos to check.  Like this:
      scan f:\books\
    2. The command does nothing visible when you hit enter, but it updates an internal setting.
    3. Then (this is an important step) restart Logos without removing the CD.  Logos will then scan that directory for licensed resources and copy them to the application's resource directory.  It will not pick up any unlicensed resources.  It will not add new licenses to Logos - this has to be done via phone support.   If it finds anything new, you should see the indexer start indexing.

    Wiki has =>  http://wiki.logos.com/Adding_new_resources_to_Logos_4

    Personally have Libronix 3.0g installed so have option of adding new licenses to Libronix 3.0g then sync with Logos servers for use with Logos 4 and 5.
