Synchronization not working for me

Two things please.

When I close out of Logos 4 on the PC after a study, when I reopen it, there are none of my windows opened. I have to start my research all over again every time. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to turn something on in order for it to remember my pages. It used to remember.

Also, I thought it was supposed to synchronize across platforms. My iOS keeps the same book open in the Logos app each time I use the iOS and it never synchronizes with my work on the PC. Am I incorrect that it is supposed to synchronize?

When you restart Logos4, click Layout in the upper-right corner of your screen to see a dialog like this:

 

The left side shows layouts if you previously saved some.
The right side shows recent layout snapshots.

The layout named Application Closed was saved when you exited Logos4.
If you click on that, Logos4 will reopen everything just as you left it.

See the little pencil icon next to the name of the layout?
If you click it, you can name this layout something convenient, like the name of your study.
I have a separate layout for each section or book of the Bible, for convenience.
It not only remembers the verse and the current Bibles, but the commentaries I was reading before.
