Crashes: intermittent and non-reproduceable

Running L5.0a Beta 1 on Mac 10.8.2

I get intermittent crashes, maybe once or twice per day. Each time I try to reproduce the exact situation that caused the crash and it works fine, but I think a pattern might be emerging that it's always when a new pane or window is opening or closing.

Some more logs, this one and the second one above both occurred when clicking on a bible cross-reference, and then dragging the reference link from the popup to open it up in a new pane —> pane started to open and program crashed (but again can't reproduce!).

The long and short of the issue is that the system (not Logos) reckons you have too many open files. It seems to occur with a search for rating:>=0, so my suggestion would be to delete any/the collection with rating:>=0. How many resources do you have?

EDIT: It could also be caused by a layout with too many resource tabs.

Thanks Dave, well spotted. I did have an all resources collection with rating>=0, which I've deleted — I can't remember why I needed it, so hopefully that will solve the problem. I guess it was running into difficulties spawning the parallel resources data for the new pane...
