If I open a resource and start reading it on my iMac, is it possible to pick up right where i left off on my iPad? Do I need to do something to make this happen automatically ?
It should do it automatically. If you have a resource open on your Mac & then later open the same resource on your iPad, it will automatically open to its last opened location.

yes and no. When you leave the resource open on either your desktop or mobile app, Logos assumes that you want to pick up from that spot. If you close the resource, it will open to the last used spot on either platform.
