I am unable to locate Timeline in the Starter option. I had Timeline in by previous version of L4? Is it not available any longer?
The new Timeline feature is part of the Bronze package and above.
Your timelines from Logos 4 should still be in your library. Sort by Type and look for timelines or just type timeline and scan for them:
If you want to add the new Timeline feature it will be available as part of a minimum crossgrade fairly soon:

I thought Logos said we would not lose any resources?
You shouldn't have lost anything. The old timeline is a different feature from the new timeline. Like Mark said, the Logos4 timeline resources should still be in your library, and they don't require the new timeline feature to work.
I no longer have the L4, I have L5 starter.
We understand that. What we are saying is that all the timeline features you had in L4 work in L5. Find those timelines I pointed you to in your Library. You haven't lost anything.
The L5 Timeline feature is a new function in L5 with a totally new data set. It comes with the Bronze package and above. It is not in Starter. You'll be able to purchase it later as part of a minimum crossgrade as I pointed out above.
Again, you haven't lost anything. Your L4 timelines are in your L5 Library. You just don't have the new L5 timeline feature which is a different animal.

Question, I was under the impression that timelines were not available in L4 at all. I purchased the timeline feature back in the L3 days and no longer have it L4 library. I am very certain that I was told by the customer service agent that timelines were not going to be available in L4 at all. Perhaps the information that I received was not correct? I must admit that once I was told that I discounted trying to access that feature in L4. In fact, I told the customer service agent that I was somewht frustrated that I purchased the timeline module in the L3 days and they took it out of L4 and now I have to purchase it again in L5, although I understand the fact that this time it looks like Logos did the timelines the right way. The previous versions of the timelilnes looked like it was a quick throw together.

With Logos 4 (and also Logos 5), you should be able to go to the Library panel, enter "type:timeline", and see the L4 timelines.
But these timeline resources are different altogether from the new L5 Timeline Tool.

What did not happen in L4 was the transfer of the L3 ability to customize or edit, or make up our own timelines. As both Sean and I pointed out you should find that you have L4 timelines (even though you didn't know you had them). They became resources in L4 rather than a tool (Add-in).

This is a totally new tool, unrelated to what you had in L3 except by name. It is quite a nice feature, as you say, 'done right.' The links from other resources make it an outstanding addition to Logos.
