Regression: Menus still hide my selection

I raised this in the original beta and...

Menus still scroll back to the top and hide the selected item  e.g Collections.  It is really inconvenient to repeatedly scroll down to see the item I previously selected.

There is an active case for the Open menu in the Collections panel.

I will create a case for the Search panel drop down for reference range.

The Documents and Guides menus do not set a scroll position when you select an item so there would not be a way to preserve the scroll location.

This is still inconvenient as it interrupts my work flow  - so please regard this as a request.
