Already finding L3 frustrating after using L4

Today I opened L3 so I could print from the Reverse Interlinear ESV (I haven't found the easy way to do that in L4 yet). While there, I started to do some writing for my SS lesson. Having used L4 on-and-off for the past month or so, I'm already finding L3 a bit frustrating to use compared to the new features in L4. Not that L3 is bad, but some of the stuff L4 does is truly as exciting as the ad copy said it would be.

I can't wait for the rest of the missing features to be finished.

There can be little doubt that Logos 4 once it is rounded off will be a much better product that Logos 3. Already, as you point out, a number of improvements shine through though the missing features have us return to Logos 3 when we need them.

In the end, there might some who, having tasted the old wine, think it's better (a matter of preference) but indeed, frustrated as I have been at times, I find myself drawing on the better features of Logos 4 or Logos 3 depending on what needs to be done and like you, look forward to what has been promised to us down the road.

I still use L3:

1. For Bible Speed Search

2. To slowly transfer my favorites

3. To check and recheck to know what resources are/might be missing in L4

4. To use PBB

Other than these things, I have adjusted to L4 fairly quickly...

For how I used v. 3 - I had no problem at all uninstalling it and going v. 4 all the way.

I never (well, only rarely) print from Logos. What I do is copy the passage into WordPerfect (MS Word will do, I suppose) and print from there. This gives me control over formatting, font size, etc.

I'm pretty much at the same point as Mitch. I still have v.3 installed "just in case" but I've not needed to go back into in the last week or so. Will probably uninstall soon - I guess the only thing stopping me is knowing that there is some stuff I want to order that is only going to be on CD so will need to be unlocked through v.3
