After watching Mark Barnes video on L5. I noticed that in my Mac L5 version ,in the library there are no columns. So I can't take advantage of some of the advance sorting and tagging features. Am I missing how to turn those features on and off - or have they just been left off of the Mac version?
If you right-click in the bar along the top of your library you should be able to turn on the columns you want
L5 Mac Library looks like this when you right-click on the column header line
Be sure you are viewing your Library in line-by-line style rather than book cover style:
When in book cover style, click on the icon that shows a line by line image to change the view and see the columns:
It is very disappointing to see that it is also in the PC software. What a frustrating thing. It limits the manipulation and allows a window to dominate. I do not like this either and hopefully there will be enough complaints that it will be changed back. Crazy that this would have been changed in such a way in the first place. We are just not use to being made to do things according to the way someone else thinks it should be done. It's like the city in Canada trying to make us Canadians put up with bike paths when we have winter 6 months of the year... Whining I know.
Hi Mark
Sorry I don't understand the point you are making.
The functionality to change what is displayed in columns in the library is available on both Mac and Windows platforms.
Jack's post above shows how it looks on Mac.
Am I missing what you are saying?

I am at a complete loss to determine the target of your lament. Could you please explain the source of your displeasure?
True, but Jack already has the columns showing. The original poster claimed he saw no columns, which led me to believe he didn't understand there was a second view of his Library available. That's all.

Sorry, I was responding to Mark Stevenson's post. I should have quoted it to make that clear.
Apologies for the confusion, Graham
Now if my name was not so common (even two MVPs with the name) there would not have been any confusion.
Thanks for the help! That was the problem all the columns in the line view were deselected and there was nothing showing on my screen. Many thanks to all the posters (especially the stars) who volunteer their time and energy to help on these forums!

Please illustrate Logos 5 frustration with a screen shot or two.
The Logos 5 library behaves the same on OS X 10.8.2 and Windows 7. Thankful for option to filter Library by Collection.
Keep Smiling [:)]
