Hey all - sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've upgraded to L5 using the cross grade and am wondering what I need to add on to have audio pronunciation of Greek and Hebrew? Thanks!
If you had Greek Pronunciation in L4 you will have it in L5 otherwise it comes with a Bronze package and higher. There is no tool for Hebrew.
The Greek tool is available wherever a lemma appears in a Guide
I didn't have it in L4, but I thought there was a resource I could purchase separately that would add the capability into L5? I purchased https://www.logos.com/product/4207/greek-audio-new-testament but that has not worked.
This is a reading of the entire Greek NT (use read aloud when looking at NA27). It's not the pronunciation of each Greek lemma. It looks like that product is no longer available separately (it used to be here). It comes in Bronze or above. You'll be able to get a refund in the Greek audio NT is not what you wanted. If you call to arrange that, you could perhaps ask them if the other product is available over the phone.
Thanks everyone for the help. I called and received a refund. I'm surprised that I can't add that feature on itself but would have to pay hundreds of dollars more to get that one resource ... I don't need everything else that would come with a bronze upgrade.
Hebrew Pronunciation is on PrePub (been there since L3), and Bob emailed me back on it a while ago and said as long as I keep the PrePub order for it, once they're finally finished with it, I'll be able to purchase it and have it added to Logos.
Thanks. I'll stake my claim on a copy.
Search the PrePubs for it and let me know if you need the link.

I'm not sure Logos is committed to this from something else Bob said a "while ago". Just look how long it's been hanging around.
I ordered "Pronunciation Tools" back in 2004. The resource is no longer available. I cannot even find out what this is. I wonder when the Greek pronunciation tool first went on sale or on prepub? I thought I had it but apparently I do not. I do have Hebrew Audio Pronunciation on prepub. Can anyone tell me what the "Pronunciation Tools" resource might be?

This site may help.

I have a Logos NewsWire from 27 September 2004 saying that "Greek Pronunciation Addin with Erasmian & Modern Data Sets" has been sent to the manufacturer and orders will be processed within ten days. The page linked to in that email first appears on the internet archive on 8 August 2004: http://web.archive.org/web/20040808064525/http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/2065
Thanks Mark. That is the resource: Greek Pronunciation Addin with Erasmian & Modern Data Sets.
I do not see how this works in L5. I also thought this WAS the Audio Pronunciation of Greek in Logos. So my questions are:
1. Does anyone know how this resource works in L5?
2. If this is not the Audio Greek Pronunciation resource, how does it differ from this one that I should have?
3. When did the Audio Greek Pronunciation resource go into production?
4. If this resource was replaced by the Audio Greek Pronunciation, why was I not informed or updated to the new resource?
Thanks
Mark
The short answer is that if you own a licence for this L3 add-in, you ought to have the pronunciation features in L4/L5. That should give you the little speaker icons next to Greek lemmas in various reports (e.g. Bible Word Study), and give you the pronunciation tool in the Tools menu. I'm sure Logos confirmed this sometime in 2009, but I can't find the post.
But here's a user who confirmed this: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/48441/359112.aspx#359112
Mark, you have been very helpful. Thank you.
I found the way to access it in L5 under tools, lookup, pronunciation.
Now...the original
Greek Pronunciation Addin with Erasmian & Modern Data Setsallowed you to hear not only the lemmas, but also the alphabet. I cannot find that anywhere in L5. As well, you mentioned speaker icons next to the Lemmas. I have not found that. The only way I so far have found to access the pronunciation is via tools, lookup, pronunciation. Am I missing something?

That's found in several places:
also the alphabet

Thank you very much.

We are definitely committed to it, though we've hit a number of potholes along the road that have delayed it again and again (most of which are now resolved). I don't want to commit to a date for something that's taken so long, but i'm optimistic that we may be able to ship this in Q12013.
Thanks, Sean. That should stop our speculations... now when did you say it was coming[:D]
