How do I search and get a list of all the scriptures I have highlighted with a box? Thanks for your help.
John, you can search for specific text with that box highlight, but what you are asking for is basically a wildcard search: find any text with a box around it. If that can be done, it would take a very long time to do. You'd have to use the search parameters in Bible Search to search just that highlighting style, and supply an asterisk as the thing you are looking for. I don't actually know if that would work since my attempt to do that on just one chapter of the Bible is still running.
All markups are directed to note files. You have a note file or note files where all those highlights were directed to. It would probably be called "Emphasis Markup" (if that is where the box was that you used), but you may have directed those highlights to another file, to multiple files, or you just didn't pay attention to where they went. Even if they are in one file (say, Emphasis markup) they may be mixed up with other Emphasis Markup style highlights. There will be no way to distinguish between them.
What I'm saying is that unless you were very careful and planned ahead and directed every 'box' markup to a note file just for box markups, you will never sort everything out and easily find them all. Sorry.
Why is it that the notes files that are created when text is highlighted do not show the passage that was highlighted? They only show the first and last few words. I would like to create a "Quotes" note file and then add quotes by highlighting text. When I do this I can't read the list of quotations because they are incomplete passages.

Ah, I have a work around but it is going to cost you. Currently, Logos truncates/abbreviates a quotation when those are done in the Logos desktop program.
The work-around is to own an iPad. For some reason the notes files created when highlighting on the iPad retain all the quote.
I hope you will post a suggestion in the Suggestions Forum that they change this to full preservation of the highlighted passage.
Also place some votes over at Logos' Uservoice site for a suggestion there that incorporates what you'd like to see: I hope you will post a suggestion in the Suggestions Forum that they change this to full preservation of the highlighted passage.
