Differences in L4 on Two Computers

I have Logos 4 installed on my laptop and my main PC, however, I notice that the desktop saved on my laptop is not identical when I use the main computer. Should they be or is it because I have my laptop saved as My Desktop and the changes do not carry over to the other?

If you save and name your layout on your desktop, then open that layout on the laptop (after it's synchronized), it should be the same. It won't open a layout automatically (except for the one you had open last on that machine).

Okay, I think I'm following you. But let me restate it. (I was getting confused as to whether My Desktop was the name of your layout, or just your desktop computer's layout.)

Let's say you have a layout called "Main" that you created and saved on your desktop computer.
You exit L4 on your desktop.
You then open your laptop computer, start L4 and let it synchronize.
You open "Layouts" and find a layout called "Main."
You open it and make a few changes.
You then open "Layouts," save the most recent layout and name it "Main" (same name).
Then you close L4 from your laptop.
You then go back to your desktop, open Logos4 and let it synchronize.
You open "Layouts" and find a layout called "Main." And you open it on your desktop.

Question: Should the changes you made on the laptop show up on the desktop under the layout "Main?" Answer: Yes. (Did you follow all the steps?)
