Ipad: Notes/Highlighting across pages

Is there a w ay to be able to highlight a passage that is on multiple bible pages? Since I am unable to scroll when using my ipad, I am having difficulty making notes that reference verses that are on multiple pages of the bible.
I've used OliveTree in the past an one option is to highlight the first word and 'bring it to the top'. Is there such a function in Logos for the ipad?

The latest version of the app (3.1.1) now has a "two-finger" scroll that was added for this reason.
From the iTunes App Store page:
"Two-finger scrolling: use a two-finger pan up or pan down to move one line up or down"
