Academic discounts on upgrade price calculator?

Does the automatic price calculation for upgrades from L4 to L5 include academic discounts if the person is logged on to the Web site with an account that is authorized for academic pricing? Does a student or faculty member need to call Logos sales to get the academic pricing on upgrades?

It does not appear that the upgrade pricing takes into account
academic discounts. I know someone who has L3 Scholars and the upgrade to
Bronze is quoted as $354 while purchasing a new copy of Bronze at
academic price is $315. Somehow I don't see how this gives any value for
the books already owned. Bronze is apparently the new name for Scholars Library.

I would like to upgrade also and I've contacted customer services to ask does the upgrade price include the academic discount too. Nobody has got back to me yet and it has been 10 days. I know they are very busy so I will give them a few more days !

I have academic pricing, and the price I paid for my cross-grade was the price the price calculator showed. So I'd say it does. Either that, or I didn't get my discount. But I paid a small enough amount I'm not going to complain if that's what happened.

I personally talked with my Logos Academic rep on this, and he said the price you see on the upgrade page is the bottom line price for you, whether you are a student or not. There is no additional discounts by going to Academic.

Patience is a virtue, but when it's been that long, there's probably a good chance your mails have got caught in a spam filter or something. I'd contact them again if I were you.
