Is there a special significance to the book A History of the First Christians by Alexander J.M. Wedderburn? It's only 288 pages but carries a price tag of $150. Just curious why such a book would be placed at such a high value monetary wise.

Looks like an error to me. It was a part of a collection of 10 books and the collection is $179.

It's probably right. It's also quite expensive on Amazon. Many books (especially from T & T. Clark and Sheffield) are much more expensive to buy individually than in collections. Be sure to compare prices every time you see that a book is in a collection.
