I could use the logos 4 in my android Mobile without any problem.

I just couldn't open it in my PC, window 7 professional version.

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

I cannot promise that this will make any difference (I am not proficient in reading logs), but wonder if you might try restarting Logos while holding the Ctrl key. This should then bring you to the signing in screen from which you can attempt to open L4 to a blank layout (you will need to check the box). Does this enable you to successfully start L4?

If not, someone who is able to review your logs will, no doubt, assist.

Apologies, ZhiCheng... And with that, I have exhausted the limits of my knowledge in this area.

There are other users on the forum who may be able to read your logs and advise further.

Alternatively, telephoning or email customer support may be an option (they will not open for a few hours yet).

From the logs there is a DNS issue - your system is failing to resolve "services.logos.com"

Holding down the CTRL-key (as Andy suggested) and opting to work offline should enable you to open Logos and work in the short term but won't fix the underlying problem.

What is your network configuration? Are you at home or in some campus / office environment?

There are other threads with similar issues and suggestions to use alternate DNS servers - see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/47008/349354.aspx#349354 for an example - but suggest you don't change anything without us understanding a bit more about your environment first.

So:

does working offline enable Logos to start up?
please provide more information about your network configuration

I have tried the "CTRL-Key" with "Work Offline", but it was still stuck in the logo of "logos bible software".

I am in Australia, use my laptop in my office with WiFi and at home with Local Area Connection.

They are both ADSL2+ in the office and home.

Any suggestion?

Hi all,

I just fixed it.

Since I found a file named "logos bible software pre-quest (I forgot the exact word)" in the "programs and features", uninstalled this file, I could use the logos 4 again.

Thanks for your help.

But, still not no sure what the real reason/problem to make the logos 4 stuck.

That sounds like the Logos prerequisites.

Very strange that uninstalling this fixed the problem, it is required, but glad that things are working for you.
